“Best stay ever! From the easy communication with our host, excellent location a block away from the beach. Groceries and Costco less than a 10-min drive. Restaurants and bars a 5-min walk. The hosts were thoughtful and detailed with what they put in their homes — cookware, knife set, coffee maker. Very clean home, smart furniture choices with the coastal vibe. “We loved the location; steps from the beach and Venice pier. For a longer walk, we would easily get to nearby places like Abbot Kinney, the Canals, or Marina del Rey boat harbor. The home was nice and bright, the beds were comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet and clean. It was a special bonus to have a large sauna in the house. Family of 4 agreed this was a great place to stay.”

That said, one thing I didn't see in the original description, this is the "lower unit" in a two unit building and when guests were staying in the upper unit the noise carried through significantly (footsteps, chairs moving). Did not detract from our stay.”

The patio space is excellent and just steps away from the beach. You’re also right around the corner from plenty of restaurants, shops, and everything you need, yet the unit itself stays peaceful and quiet. The host was very responsive and friendly throughout.
